Leaf a Trace

On the 16th of February 2024, we were struggling to come up with a solid business plan for commerce this year. We thought about current issues around our city, and we looked out our window at the view of the Port Hills fire. One not too dissimilar from the one that wiped out a significant number of trees just seven years prior. From there, we decided that we didn’t want that to happen again. Our aim is to regenerate life into the port hills once more. This time even more so with native trees. Customers who buy our product get their purchased tree named after them. The tree either gets given to them or they can choose to get them planted on the hills, where they get frequent updates about them on our Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Buying our product is going to regenerate life back into the Port Hills while also giving people something interesting to follow. 10% of our earnings for the year goes to the firefighters for their remarkable response to the 2024 Port Hills fire. We will forever be grateful for them putting their lives on the line in order to protect our community.
